New Year, New Priorities

Its that time again, we have set three new priorities based on what our public on the #ValleyBeat have told us matter the most to you. 

We review what people tell us both in person at our beat surgeries and via Neighbourhood Link. 

Without hesitation, here’s what we will be pro-actively tackling over the next 3 months:

You Said:

There has been an increase in the use of illegal off-road motorbikes being ridden dangerously (specifically in the Castle Donington area). 

We Will:

Increase high visibility patrols in the areas affected by this and pro-actively look to catch offenders and enforce where legally possible. We will also look to develop intelligence around the owners / riders whilst working with partner agencies and the Public. 

You Said:

Illegal parking in the area of Station Road and surrounding areas has become an increasing issue. 

We Will:

Pro-actively patrol these locations and look to enforce where legally possible by issuing Fixed Penalty notices (FPNs) & recovering vehicles when dangerous obstructions are being committed.

You Said:

That theft from motor vehicles around the area of The Moto Services in castle Donington is on the increase. 

We Will: 

Target high visibility patrols in this area and work with management at the Moto Services in order to target harden the location and prevent further offences being committed.
